I have great concern for my
photos. Is it safe to send by mail?
The most secure delivery would be to
ship your items with a reputable, trackable Carrier such as UPS or
FEDX. We will in turn assure your items will be shipped back to you
in the same manner and in the same condition they were received in.
Due to the shipping process being totally beyond our control, we do
need to ask you to sign a waiver on our order form that absolves us
of any responsibility for your materials during the shipping
process.
When can I expect to receive my
show?
Generally all projects under 200
pictures will require a turnaround time of approximately 2-3
weeks. We devote extra attention to all details. If your project
is larger, we will inform you of a projected completion date. If you
really need it quick, we offer expedited service and delivery for an
additional fee. Please contact us for details.
I’m not sure exactly which
pictures to choose or which order to place them in.
Choose a variety of group photos,
close ups, nice scenery, candid shots, etc. As far as assigning an
order is your discretion (although we can do this with our best
judgment if you’d like). Be creative! Stick to the original theme of
the show. There is a beginning and an ending to every story! Mix and
match your type of photos also. (e.g. don’t have 3-4 photos in a row
of group shots)
How will I know which pictures to
choose for your “Pixel Dust Magic”?
We have found on occasion, that the
favorite photos that have special meaning work wonderful. You can
even have your show open with it on your Title Screen to immediately
capture everyone’s interest! If you aren’t sure tell us and we will
choose for you. You will be truly amazed!!
Can you include things other than
photos to appear?
Yes! By all means if you have special
ticket stubs, programs, announcements, newspaper articles,
brochures, greeting cards, letters, licenses or just about anything
we can scan, or you can imagine! We can professionally digitize it
on our scanner and include it in your show.
How do I know which extras may
benefit my show?
Here is a tip: If you are choosing
your show to be entertaining in a “cute or funny sense” you may want
captions. It’s amazing at how we can actually animate our text to
the mood of the photo. If your show is a more serious one with love,
remembrance, & emotion, we suggest to go easy on the captions. Let
the pictures, transitions, and music express the impact of the show
without being distracted. It will be like viewing a motion picture!
If you have a lot of photos, using our Multi-Image Overlay can also
bring out a lot of attention to your show. We would produce 2 or
more images to each have their own special action to create a great
effect!
I don’t know what music to use.
We can purchase a song for you on
your behalf from a legitimate Music Vendor or we can apply royalty
free music at no charge. Music selection will set the ultimate tone
for your presentation. Take the lyrics into consideration. We can
make the choices if you’d like (and we’re really good at it!) by
using either option above, or just send us your original recordings
on CDs with your selections.
How will I know how many songs to
use?
Depending on transition times applied
and use of special effects, each slide will vary, give or take-
about 8 seconds. And on average, most songs are usually 3-4 minutes
in length. By this we would estimate: 50 photos-two songs, 100
photos-three songs, 150 photos-four songs, 200 photos-five
songs……and so. We will professionally synchronize to fit.
What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept checks or money orders.
Please make checks payable to “Pixel Dust Productions”. There is a
$50.00 fee for returned checks. We also accept all major credit card
payments via PayPal, a safe and secure online payment center. PayPal
instructions will be sent to you via email upon receiving your
purchase order and completing the project.
I absolutely love the show you
produced for me and I really want to give copies to my parents,
in-laws, and grandparents. Can I still get more copies?
Absolutely!! We will keep your show
on file for 1 year and you may reorder at any time during that
period.
What if my DVD does not play?
On average, 98% of all DVD players
will play back our DVDs and will play on a computer equipped with a
DVD-ROM drive. You can check to see if your DVD player will support
DVD-R or DVD+R at
www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers. Please let us know if you foresee
a problem.
